Lumara El Zonte: Why Alejandro Argumedo and Isabella García Manzo Chose El Salvador
For the first episode of The Goodlife Podcast, we sat down with Alejandro Argumedo and Isabella García Manzo, the founders of Lumara, a new hotel, residence, and plaza project in El Zonte, El Salvador.
Alejandro, who previously co-founded and sold Hugo, and Isabella, whose career took her from Miss Universe to hospitality, share what brought them back to El Salvador and why they chose El Zonte as the place to build their next project.
Introducing Lumara
Lumara is designed around a mix of hospitality, living, and gathering spaces, bringing together a hotel, private residences, and a plaza directly along the coast.
The idea is to create a place where staying, dining, working, and spending time with friends can all happen within the same environment.
During the podcast, Alejandro and Isabella explain how the concept developed and some of the places that influenced their vision, including the community-driven model of Soho House.
