Inside Plan ₿ Forum El Salvador 2026: Bitcoin, Global Voices, and a Country in Motion

The latest edition of Plan ₿ Forum El Salvador once again confirmed the country’s role as a global meeting point for Bitcoin, innovation, and real-world adoption. With packed conference rooms, a strong Salvadoran presence, and attendees from around the world, the event reflected the growing momentum behind Bitcoin—and the broader transformation taking place across El Salvador.

From in-depth discussions to cultural moments and community connections, Plan ₿ Forum delivered an experience that went far beyond a traditional conference.

1. A Truly Global Event with Strong Local Participation

This year’s forum was full from start to finish. Conference rooms remained packed throughout the event, with a main stage in English, dedicated Spanish-language rooms, and live translation available to ensure accessibility for all attendees.

The audience reflected a powerful mix of locals and international visitors—Salvadorans engaging deeply with Bitcoin education alongside entrepreneurs, investors, and builders from across the world. The energy in every room made it clear: Bitcoin conversations in El Salvador are no longer niche—they’re mainstream.

2. Tourism, Bitcoin, and Economic Growth: Insights from the Minister of Tourism

One of the standout moments came from Morena Valdez, El Salvador’s Minister of Tourism, who shared key insights into the country’s growth driven by tourism and Bitcoin adoption. She highlighted rising international investment, increasing visitor numbers, and the expanding opportunities being created for Salvadoran families.

During the conference days alone, hotels across the city were fully booked—an immediate and tangible example of how events like Plan ₿ Forum generate economic activity, strengthen local businesses, and create jobs.

3. Roman Martínez on Circular Economies and a Bitcoin-Powered Future

Goodlife co-founder Roman Martínez returned to the stage to speak about Bitcoin circular economies and why Bitcoin Country is winning. His message focused on Bitcoin as an empowering tool—one that provides hope, resilience, and long-term opportunity for communities.

Roman shared how circular economies continue to grow in different regions of El Salvador, showing that Bitcoin adoption is not just theoretical, but practical, human, and expanding nationwide.

4. A Spectacular Day 1 Closing: BTC Drone Show & Fireworks

Day 1 concluded with an unforgettable Bitcoin-themed drone show and fireworks display. Hundreds of drones filled the sky, accompanied by a fully narrated story in Spanish, creating a powerful visual celebration of Bitcoin, sovereignty, and El Salvador’s journey.

It was a moment that brought together locals and visitors alike—symbolizing pride, progress, and a shared vision for the future.

5. Thank You for Visiting the Goodlife Booth

A special thank you to everyone who stopped by the Goodlife booth. It was great reconnecting with old friends and meeting so many new faces. We loved answering questions, discussing real estate, investment, relocation, and hearing directly from people curious about building a life or a Plan B in El Salvador.

These conversations are always one of our favorite parts of the event.

6. Art Meets Bitcoin: “We Are All Satoshi”

One of the most talked-about installations was the art exhibition featuring 45 statues of Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. The display drew constant attention, inviting reflection on Bitcoin’s decentralized nature and collective ownership.

Behind the statues, a simple but powerful message stood out on the wall:
“WE ARE ALL SATOSHI.” A reminder that Bitcoin belongs to everyone and that its story continues to be written by communities around the world.

Looking Ahead

Plan ₿ Forum El Salvador once again showcased how Bitcoin, culture, tourism, and community intersect in meaningful ways. With growing local engagement, international interest, and real economic impact, the momentum continues to build.

Another edition is already on the horizon for 2027, stay tuned.
