Discovering El Salvador: A Look Back at Our June Discovery Trip
In June, we welcomed a dynamic group of entrepreneurs, families, and investors—including both foreigners and hermanos lejanos (Salvadorans living abroad returning to explore opportunities back home)—to experience firsthand why El Salvador is becoming one of the most exciting places to invest and live in Central America. Over five days, our Discovery Trip offered a unique blend of immersive experiences—combining breathtaking coastal views, emerging suburban communities, expert-led workshops, and meaningful one-on-one consultations.

Inspiring Locations & Hidden Gems
Our trip began along El Salvador’s Pacific coastline. From the lively surf communities along the coastline between Mizata and San Blas, participants experienced a wide range of oceanfront neighborhoods—each offering a unique mix of investment potential, natural beauty, and laid-back coastal living.
This time, we expanded our exploration to Zaragoza, a fast-growing residential hub just minutes from the coast. These developments are attracting buyers who want a balance of suburban comfort and proximity to San Salvador and Surf City. Touring these neighborhoods provided a fresh perspective on the diverse options available—from modern family homes to turnkey investment properties.
Expert Insights & Personalized Guidance
One of the highlights of this Discovery Trip was the introduction of one-on-one strategy sessions. Each participant had dedicated time with our team to discuss their individual goals, questions, and plans—whether they were considering relocation, rental income strategies, or long-term investments.
Throughout the week, we hosted workshops led by trusted professionals:
- An attorney specializing in real estate transactions and residency processes
- A tax expert guiding participants through El Salvador’s pro-investment framework
- A civil engineer sharing insights on permitting, and construction timeline
- A special session with the Ministry of Economy, where participants learned firsthand about the country’s development plans, security improvements, and economic outlook
These sessions turned ideas into actionable roadmaps, empowering guests to move forward confidently.
Connecting with Changemakers
This time, we hosted fireside chats with expats who have already made their move to El Salvador. They shared candid stories about their relocation journeys, what it took to get established, and how they’ve built fulfilling lives and businesses here.
Guests also connected with entrepreneurs and community leaders driving innovation and contributing to the country’s dynamic transformation. These conversations underscored how much El Salvador has evolved—and how accessible it can be to create something meaningful.
Culture, Community & Connection
Beyond property tours, we immersed ourselves in El Salvador’s rich culture. A guided walk through the Historic Center of San Salvador revealed architectural gems and sparked conversations about the country’s history, culture, and transformation over the past decades.
We also gathered for lunch at Brutto, one of the city’s top restaurants, where participants shared impressions and learned more about what daily life in San Salvador can look like.
