Meet the Team
Roman Martínez
Roman was born and raised in El Zonte. He has a strong connection to the surf culture and tourism of his hometown, as the co-founder of Bitcoin Beach, he has been a key figure in building a lively Bitcoin community in El Salvador. In 2021, he co-founded Goodlife El Salvador with his partner Lexi, where he continues to shape the company’s direction and impact. In his free time, Roman enjoys surfing and contributing to the local community.
Thom Van Wijngaarden
Thom was born in Utrecht, Netherlands. He has diverse experience in sales, marketing, and finance. He has a passion for Bitcoin, cars, football, and enjoys connecting with people. Thom discovered El Salvador through a documentary on Bitcoin Beach, which inspired him to join Goodlife. He is currently completing his graduation internship, focusing on Public Relations and analytics to promote real estate in El Salvador and contribute to its socio-economic development.
Marcos Cortez
Marcos was born and raised in El Salvador. He has always been passionate about expressing himself creatively. Today, content creation allows him to continue developing unique artistic pieces he truly enjoys making. He also has a deep love for music and is a big fan of Christopher Nolan’s films.
Oma Lovo
She holds a Marketing degree, is a proud mom, and enjoys skating, surfing, and creating macramé art. She learned real estate from her mom over a decade ago and enjoys exploring hidden corners of the country. Helping clients find the right property is what she finds most rewarding.
Raquel Molina
Born and raised in El Salvador. She holds a degree in Business Administration and values working with organization, positive energy, and always giving her best. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching sunsets by the beach. At Goodlife El Salvador, she oversees daily administrative operations.
Lexi Cross
Lexi was born and raised in Seattle, Washington followed by 10 years of working as a Marketing Consultant in New York City. In 2020 she took a surf trip to El Zonte, El Salvador, fell in love with the country and, basically, never left! She and her partner Roman founded Goodlife El Salvador together in 2021. Lexi oversees sales, marketing and business operations. In her free time she enjoys surfing, skating, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Mafer Rivas
Mafer was born and raised in El Salvador. She holds a B.A. in Fashion Design and is the founder of @feevawear, a surfwear brand inspired by the tropical vibes of El Salvador. With experience in fashion and marketing, she brings her creative expertise to Goodlife El Salvador as the Marketing Coordinator. In this role, she develops strategies for every property and website maintenance. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, tanning, surfing, and dancing.
Isabella Miranda
Born and raised in El Salvador and studied in Spain. She loves dogs, enjoys cooking, and never misses a sunset. At Goodlife, she is the friendly face at the front desk, always ready to welcome everyone who stops by. She also manages client communication and keeps everything running smoothly.
Luis Candel
Luis was born and raised in El Salvador. He studied tourism and has always loved the thrill of adventure—whether it's surfing, riding motorbikes, or skating. Today, he works as a real estate agent, helping people find their dream spots while staying connected to the lifestyle he loves.
Ana Luisa Soto
Ana Luisa holds a BA in Social Work from Dublin and found early on that her true strength lies in connecting with people. Over the years, she has built a career in real estate that combines empathy with strategy, helping clients through one of life’s most meaningful decisions—finding the right home. Outside of work, she enjoys art, dance, and spending time with her family.
